一、立法院於２０１８年１２月７日三讀通過《動物保護法》第４條修正草案，將「動物保護教育」增列為中央主管機關的權責事項，以及增訂第４條之１條，明文規定各級政府應普及動物倫理與動物保護法規相關之教育及學習，並落實於十二年國民基本教育課綱中。
二、本會自１９９６年出版「小白、阿花何處去？－關懷流浪動物教師手冊」、「共享世界」等教學光碟，累積多元豐富之動保教育資源。並自２００８年起，每年舉辦分區種籽教師研習活動，推廣動保觀念及教材教案，動保足跡遍及全台各縣市，共培力超過２０００名種籽教師。

五、敬請  鼓勵貴校教師踴躍運用「動保扎根教育平台」資源，讓善待動物、尊重生命的種籽在學童的心中扎根茁壯。
